La Finca golf was the first of our winter golf trips and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The hotel is perfectly placed giving guests freedom to relax while being close to all the golfing facilities. Sunday’s travel couldn’t have been smoother as the flight, transfers, and hotel check-in were all great. After a bite to eat, a couple of drinks, and a welcome we were off to bed to get ready for 4 busy days of golf.

During the trip, golfers get a chance to work on their game with 2 hours of practice before taking on the challenge of 18 holes. Day 2 was a short transfer across to Villa Martin Golf Club and it didn’t disappoint, a little shorter in length than La Finca but more trees made it a tricky course to tame. well done to the winners that day, Chris Green, Lynne Smith, Alan Green & Dot Greaves

The 3 rounds at La Finca went towards an eclectic competition which is always a lovely format as it gives everyone a chance to improve their score each day, not only that we split the group into 2 groups. Congratulations to Grace Trotman & Lynne Smith who both won the event.
